Working with AIX VSAM files

Why we need AIX on VSAM file?

       Each VSAM file will have KEY defined on it like KEYS(10 4). But if we need to access the data based on the field that is not part of the KEY then we can create AIX file with the field thru which we need to access data and define that as Index in Attunity.

       Once Index created, then , in Attunity place AIX VSAM PATH file for DBCommand of the Index created and apply filter under FILTER Expression.
